28 March 2021 – Outage – Part 3

Judges 7:21 While each man held his position around the camp, all the Midianites ran, crying out as they fled.

Gideon and his three hundred men faced the  multitudes of  the Midianites and the Amalekites armies that camped to attack the Israelites. The Lord thinned the army of Gideon from thirty two thousands to three hundred men and sent him against the massive armed force of the enemy. It was impossible to win the devouring enemy’s military with three hundred men, without a supernatural intervention. The Lord instructed Gideon’s “three hundred micro-mini martial” to carry light torches, trumpets and empty jars to war! According to divine direction they surrounded the edge of the camp, broke the pitchers, blew the trumpets holding the light torches up high in the air and shouted “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” (Judges 7:20b). As soon as they shouted the praise of the Lord God Almighty, there was a shaking and short circuit in the camp of the enemy and the Midianites fled.

A short circuit is any electrical flow that strays outside its intended circuit with little or no resistance to that flow. Our praise will cause short circuit, loose connections and disconnections in hell causing a dreadful outage; disorientation of demons and derailment of devilish plans.

Praise is the short circuit that will drive out the enemy from our territory:

1.     Dread: Praise will terrorize the terrorist. Praise paralyses the enemy by causing short circuits, shocks and shakes in hell. When we hear a disturbing news, doctor’s prognosis or depressing report, rather than cringing in fear, start praising. Praise will threaten and cause the demons to flee. When the enemy comes like a thick swarm of locusts of financial pressure or family issue; raise your voice and praise the Lord God Almighty. Short circuit and sabotage the plan of the enemy against you.

2.     Disconnect: Praise will disturb and disconnect the hellish connections. Praise will cause short circuit and disconnection to the plan of the enemy. Praising will cause confusion in the coalition that is cooking against us. As we praise, the management that is working against our demotion will become divided; the parties that are brewing trouble will be disunited and the plots planned to hurt us will be disengaged. Praise causes disconnection to the plan of the enemy.

3.     Divert: Praise will divert the power to stray outside the intended circuit. Our praise will jolt, shake, shock and short circuit hell causing evil powers to spill, divert and drift into unintended paths. This is how God causes the evil to transform into a blessing. All things God works for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28). What was sent to hurt us will turn around and bless us. When the short circuit causes power spillage outside the intended circuit, God would confuse the mind of the evil allies and cause them to turn against each other and devour one another.

Gideon won the large army of the enemy that was like a thicket with just three hundred men, a light touch and the trumpet of praise. Praise causes short circuit in the enemy’s camp causing confusion, mental trauma and calamity to the attacking enemy.

Judges 7: 22 When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, let your praise continually be in my mouth. Help me to praise you and threaten, confuse and annihilate the enemy from my borders. Amen
