Exodus 10:21 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt—darkness that can be felt.
The Lord struck Egypt with a darkness that could be felt. It was a demonic devouring presence of evil. The loss of livestock, livelihood and consuming locusts did not humble the haughty heart of the Pharaoh. Hence, the Lord struck Egypt with terrorising, demonic darkness, however there was a single-phase power supply distributed to the suburb of the Israelites that kept them lit and bright! Exodus 10:23 No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived. As soon as Moses stretched his hand towards the sky, total darkness covered Egypt for three days and completely paralysed the enemy.
Prayers lifting holy hands is not just an act of obedience but an act of commission. Don’t be threatened by the opposition, antagonism, hostility and animosity of the enemy. Prophetically speak darkness, demise and dread upon the resistance. 1 Timothy 2:8 I desire therefore that in every place men should pray, without anger or quarrelling or resentment or doubt, lifting up holy hands. God will cause a power outage and strike the enemy with darkness in his mind, matter and measures.
Three causes for power outage in hell:
1. Plan: The Pharaoh opposed the deliverance plan of God, hence, darkness covered the land of Egypt. When the enemy is striving against the deliverance of our family members from addictions, instinctive behaviour patterns and compulsive obsessions, we must lift up holy hands in faith and cause darkness to fall on the gripping forces. When darkness falls on the dark demonic forces, it will paralyse their penetration into God’s plan and will bring deliverance to our dear ones.
2. People: No opposition to God’s special people will stand. God’s children dine, dwell, commune and converse with Him 24/7. 2 Corinthians 6:16 I will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord, and they shall be my people and I will be their God. When His children lift us holy hands and communicate with God, there will be a complete power outage in hell.
3. Project: God is only obligated to complete what He commenced; He will only finance what He has promised. The Lord sent Moses to deliver His people, yet Pharaoh hardened His heart ten times before he let them go. When the Lord gives you a promise or a prophecy for a breakthrough, there will be resistance, interference and confrontation from the enemy, yet he will not prevail. Be calm as Moses was. Your loved one will be delivered, your business will flourish, health will revive and favourable job opportunities will open. Keep watering, growing and nurturing the vision, goal and commission that the Lord planted in your heart. The devil can cause small interruptions but cannot stop God’s plan, commission and project.
Lift up holy hands boldly and speak biting, bitter darkness and power outage in hell when there is interference from the dark evil forces on your development, movement or improvement. God will cause a complete power outage in hell.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I obediently lift up holy hands, open the doors of Heaven and dispatch Heavenly help and shut the gates of hell with darkness that will paralyse the demons. Amen
