Romans 11:33 Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
Scientists, biologists, and biochemists have tried to understand evolution and have come up with various theories to reject the scripture. Scripture and science are intertwined. Hence trying to dissect science without scripture is foolish.
Charles Darwin came up with ‘Darwinism’, the theory of biological evolution. It is an idea that species change over time giving birth to new species and share a common ancestor. He simply propagated that the origin of mankind was from apes and that butterflies were our cousins! Biologists, biochemists, and researchers, not necessarily Christians, have raised serious objections to the evolution theory in recent years. They state that a broad inference has been based on flimsy, incomplete and flawed data. Dr.Michael Behe, Biochemist, Lehigh University in his ground-breaking critique against Darwinism stated that, “Despite much progress by science in the past half century in understanding how such systems work, little progress has been made in explaining how they arise. The reluctance of science to embrace the conclusion of intelligent design has no justifiable foundation”.
The complexity of creation confirms a divine and intelligent designer. Leave alone the creation, just the complexity of a single cell is sufficient evidence of a brilliant creator. “But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? (Job 12:7-9). Regrettably, the human brain is confused with what the beasts, birds and bushes understand. Hence the insanity of man has made him worship the created beings rather than the Creator. They exchange the truth about God for a lie; they worship and serve what God has created instead of the Creator himself (Romans 1:25). Atheism and agnosticism proliferated as humanity started believing the lie of evolution.
The little that we perceive about the astounding creation is contained in the scriptures.
- Scientist: Scientists research about the creation of God but only the wisdom of God can reveal the truth. “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2). Become a scientist of the scripture. Science can be fully understood only under the light of the scriptures.
- Biologists: Biologists study humans, plants, animals, and the environments in which they live. Biology illuminated by the scriptures will make us tremble at the intricacies and complexities of each biological species. All that biology can investigate was created by the spoken Word of God. The truth can be unlaced by reading the scriptures.
- Biochemist: Biochemists analyze enzymes, DNA and research the effects of drugs and food on biological processes. Corona virus that is invisible to our eyes shocked the biochemists, but it is not beyond the control of God. When God says, ‘the end’, to the rampant evil, it will disappear.
There is a great marvelous, wonderful Divine Designer behind the creation!

Prayer: Invincible Father and divine designer of life, I marvel at your creation. Give me the wisdom to connect science to scripture. Amen.
