Impossibility only exists in the natural realm; but before God, that word is not known. – Paul Adepegba
The word ‘impossible’ does not exist in God’s dictionary. God’s power and ability are limitless. He is God. He can do anything He wants, anytime, anywhere to anyone. Our God is in heaven; He does whatever pleases Him (Psalm 115:5). If He does not do something, He refrains for a good reason. Jesus did not kill those who nailed Him nor did He step down from the cross, not because He was powerless but because He did not want to. No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily (John 10:18). God of impossibilities is not obliged to do everything that we want Him to do but believing that nothing can stop God and that He has no limitations, restrictions and inabilities is faith. The belief of the centurion that ‘there was no cap to what Jesus can do’, amazed Jesus.
The centurion of the Italian regiment trusted that Jesus does not have to be present in person for his servant to be healed. All He had to do was to release a word of healing and His power-packed words will go across borders and touch and heal his servant. The centurion said, “Lord Jesus, don’t waste your time by walking half a day to my town to heal my servant. I’m not worthy of Your presence in my humble shack anyway. Only release your healing word in the air and it will drive out death and disease from my servant” (paraphrased). The pagan centurion received an astounding miracle that was not even heard of in Israel. Trusting God’s Word is the ammunition to destroy the plots and plans against us. His Word will turn the impossible misery into a powerful testimony.
Impossibility does not exist in the supernatural realm:
1. Absent: The natural and tangible says that the situation is impossible but when the supernatural invades the natural the word ‘impossible’ vanishes. If man says that it is impossible, get excited and allow God to take over. What is impossible with man is possible with God. The word impossible is absent in God’s dictionary and vocabulary.
2. Abstract: ‘God of impossibilities’ is not an abstract, fancy theoretical phrase. The conceptual will become concrete and the abstract will become a reality when we allow God to be God. When theoretical theology turns into practical faith, the impossibility turns into an opportunity.
3. Ammunition: The ammunition to attack the impossibility is God’s Word. There are 8,810 promises in the Bible. Use God’s promises as ammunition to demolish the impossibility and turn it into a divine possibility.
The word impossibility does not exist in God’s vocabulary. His Word turns the impossibilities into divine opportunities to exhibit His power.
Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.
Prayer: King Jesus, may my faith grow to understand that impossibilities exist only in the natural realm and is non-existent in the supernatural. You are a God of impossibilities. Amen.
