Daniel 2:19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven.
Partnering with God turns a plea into a powerful atomic prayer. “God shapes the world by prayer. The more praying there is in the world the better the world will be, the mightier the forces against evil.” — E.M. Bounds. Waking up every morning to warm our hands in the hands of the Almighty imparts power into our sweet hour of prayer. Prayer is a time when fears are surrendered and the plan of God synchronizes with ours. It is impossible to change the world around us or even influence our spouse or our closest friends without atomic prayer. A time of prayer is when we walk hand-in-hand with Him and lean on His bosom to listen to His heartbeat. Prayer will mold us to become like Him and shape the world around us to accomplish His purpose on earth.
Daniel and his friends were in a fatalistic circumstance when the cruel and callous King Nebuchadnezzar ordered all the wise men of the kingdom to be executed as the magicians, enchanters and astrologers could not narrate his dream or interpret it. But Daniel beseeched the king for time to divulge and interpret the dream. Then, he called his friends for an all night prayer meeting. As they partnered with the King of the Heavens He revealed the dream of Nebuchadnezzar and its interpretation to Daniel.
Partnering with God in fervent prayer revealed the hidden mysteries to Daniel. Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries” (Daniel 2:27-28).
Partnering with the Almighty is the ammunition to atomic prayers:
1. Prepare: Partnering with the Lord in prayer is a preparation to defeat the demonic forces that come to destroy our purpose, pedigree and prodigy. When accosted with crisis or attacked by the enemy, partner with the Lord. Daniel’s all-night prayer empowered him to defeat the ploy of the enemy. Set some time aside to pray, fast and partner with God to conquer the quest.
2. Pivot: Partnering with the Almighty is the pivotal point of victory. The Lord God revealed the secrets and strategy to defeat the demonic decree. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him (Daniel 2:22).
3. Partner: Partnering with the All-Powerful God will impart divine wisdom, understanding and discernment. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning (Daniel 2:21b). We share the divine wisdom of God when we partner with Him.
Partnering with the Lord will turn desperate prayers into powerful atomic prayers.
Daniel 2:27-28a Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, 28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.
Prayer: Father God, I will fail if I face my problems with my strength but as I partner with You, You will reveal the secrets of my enemies to me. Amen.
