Genesis 1:9-10 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
The Weekly News from the Divine Workshop.
The third working day at the Divine Workshop was bustling with activity. The Lord God gathered the waters to form the land mass into seven continents. He commanded the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and the Indian oceans to converge within the borders He set for them. About 70% of the earth’s surface is covered with water. Then He took His paintbrush in His hands and started painting a verdant picture. Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so (vs 11). The earth was first reshaped and refurbished before there could be any life on the earth but the most beautiful truth is that there was vegetation before there was solar power on the earth. Science teaches us that plants and trees need sunlight to survive but the Scripture rules over scientific facts! The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees, bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds (vs 12), under the supernatural light of God’s Word.
The Lord is not dependent on His creation, (the warmth of the sunlight) to produce vegetation. In His workshop, His Word has ‘creative power’. The third day at the Divine Workshop teaches us two profound lessons – firstly, there must be transformation before productivity and secondly, miracles are not dependent on facts or science. When God speaks, scientific facts will bow down to scripture.
Creation in the divine workshop did not stop with Genesis 1; His creative power still creates, transforms, reforms and performs miracles.
The Divine Workshop:
1. Shape: In the divine workshop, our character is shaped before responsibilities are entrusted. Land formation preceded the production of seed-bearing plants and trees. We can never be productive if we are unwilling to be shaped by the hands of the divine Master.
2. Science: Scriptures overrule the scientific facts. Green, luxuriant and succulent fruits and vegetation sprang up as the Creator spoke. The vegetation of the earth was created and sustained by supernatural energy before the solar system was created.
3. Scriptures: The Word of God, the scriptures have creative power. The supernatural creative power is hidden in the Word of God. Speak the scriptures over what looks impossible scientifically and medically. Proclaim God’s promises over the impossibilities and release the supernatural miracle working power of God.
The Divine Workshop operates on supernatural power not solar power.
Supernatural power makes us productive and prolific in God’s kingdom.
Supernatural miracle working power is not dependent on solar power or scientific facts.
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand the universe to have been formed by the word of God, so that the things being seen have not been made from the things being visible.
Prayer: Father of Miracles, I stand in awe at your omnipotence and power. Transform and reform me to make me fruitful for you. Amen.
