01 May 2025 – Miracle Minded – Part 2

2 Kings 4:26 Please run now to meet her, and say to her, ‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?’ ” And she answered, “It is well.”

The mouth reveals the mind. The mind processes rational thinking but in the heart resides faith and trust. A deeper understanding of God’s power and authority over a situation stems from the heart. The mind that listens to the convictions of the heart will confess the omnipotence of God over the overwhelming circumstances. On the other hand, a heart that is empty of faith and convictions will be filled with fear. This is a carnal mind that will be gripped with emotional turbulence. Erratic emotions will filter through as dreadful and despondent confessions.

Faith is stored in the heart by reading, repeating and retaining the Word of God. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). So, when the tornado strikes, the mind is filled with the promises of God and not the probabilities or the problems. A miracle-mind will foresee mighty miracles. The miracle-minded will only speak and profess God’s marvelous might.

The Shunammite woman had a dead son in her house. Her child, who was born at an old age, had died.  She laid him in the upper room and rushed to Prophet Elisha. However, when the servant of Prophet Elisha stopped her on the way and asked her, “Is it well with the child?” her answer was “it is well”! She refused to confess that her child was dead as she knew that the promises and the prophecies of God cannot have a premature death.

Miracle-Minded Mouth:

1.         Mind: The mind of the miracle-minded are awakened to the promises of God even when the situation around them appears to be dead. Let your heart be the storehouse of the Word of God.

2.         Mouth: The mind that collaborates with the heart will speak life. The miracle-minded will declare that the promises of God cannot be aborted.

3.         Miracle: For a miracle to manifest, the heart must believe, the mind must agree, and the mouth must confess.

Miracle manifests when the miracle-minded declare the power of God with their mouth.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I dedicate my mind to believe and my mouth to confess your miracle working power. Amen.
