Revelation 3:8 “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”
Automatic doors open with the help of sensors. There is no need for a key or a code to get through these doors. A motor-driven mechanism detects movement or pressure and opens the door automatically. Metaphorically, the secret code and the spiritual mechanism that opens divine doors automatically is passion for the Lord. Zeal is a golden key that opens doors of opportunities to serve, give and grow.
The church of Philadelphia was commended by the Lord for their zeal and hence was rewarded with the secret code and the golden key to open divine doors. This church mustered all its strength and stood strong and tall to influence the society and magnify the name of the Lord.
Eleazar, the son of Aaron, was a man who was zealous for the Lord and was applauded for his passion for the Lord. God made a covenant of peace and an everlasting covenant of priesthood with the family line on Eleazar. “Therefore tell him I am making my covenant of peace with him. He and his descendants will have a covenant of a lasting priesthood, because he was zealous for the honor of his God and made atonement for the Israelites” (Numbers 25:12-13). The minority who stand as a testimony zealously for the Lord will be rewarded with the secret code to open divine doors.
Golden Spiritual Keys:
1. Passion: Divine sensors respond to passion and fervour for the Lord. God does not look for aptitude, He acknowledges ardour. Divine doors can detect sincerity, passion and fervour.
2. Peace: The covenant of peace is God’s unfailing love. Where there is peace there is no fear or worry. Passion to serve Him will flood us with peace and we will overflow with His power.
3. Priesthood: Passion will mark our generation with the divine calling of priesthood. The golden key to serve the Lord will be entrusted to the passionate.
Automatic divine doors will open for those who are passionately and zealously to honour the Lord.
Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I will serve you with every ounce of strength I have to passionately build your kingdom. Amen.
