Acts 3:16 “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”
The golden key to the treasure chest of blessings is ‘faith’ in the name of Jesus. If we are closely associated with influential people, their name can obtain favour or preferential treatment. If the names of mere celebrities can open favourable doors how much more will the name of Jesus? Our faith in the name of Jesus will break bondages and shatter the plots of hell. Miracles happen and mysterious unfurl in His name. Jesus said, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons (Matthew 10:8). Peter and John were on their way to a worship service and saw a beggar at the entrance of the temple. The beggar looked at them for a few pennies but Peter took the golden key, “The Name of Jesus”, and unlocked the door of healing and divine power. Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk”(Acts 3:6). There was rejoicing and celebration in awe when the man born lame walked, leaped, jumped, danced and praised God.
You and I have this golden key to unlock power, potential and provision. The name of Jesus does not give us temporary remedies but permanent solutions.
Golden Spiritual Keys:
1. Power: The name of Jesus has the ultimate authority on the earth. On his robe and on his thigh He has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). He is the final verdict over the financial, economic and social turmoil. He is the Lord over our lives.
2. Potential: The name of Jesus is transformational and unlocks the potential within us. Fear will flee and faith is unlocked in the name of Jesus. The shortest most powerful prayer is “Jesus”.
3. Provision: The name of Jesus lauds over recession and the geopolitical conflicts. His name transforms scarcity into abundance, feeds the multitude, and draws rivers from the rock.
The name of Jesus unlocks power, potential and provision.
Prayer: Jesus you are the King of kings and Lord of lords. In your name I will overthrow the powers of hell. Amen.
