Above All Sickness
Jesus took all our sickness to the cross of Calvary. When Jesus was on earth, the power of the Almighty was trapped in His body. People thronged in multitudes to receive a touch from Him. Power was emanating from Him. Even those who touched the hem of His garment were healed. His presence and words brought healing. But, after the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit was sent to be with us on earth. Now the incredible power of God is not restricted to one place. The power of God is everywhere He is worshipped and welcomed. This means that the healing power of God is not just present in a healing crusade. The resurrected power is present in our homes and our hearts. We can draw from Him anytime we look up to Him with faith. Since His healing power is present in us and around us, we are above all sickness.
The excerpt from the Word of God stands above all other reports. His Word is above diagnostic reports, radiology reports and specialist’s reports. Miraculous possibilities overrule medical inabilities. God’s Word is the medication that will reverse the adverse medical reports. “For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:22). Take a promise verse in the Bible, slice it and meditate on it word-by-word. For example in the verse, “By His Wounds”, “By” refers to the “doer” – Christ Jesus; “His” is our Jehovah Rapha; “Wounds” are the healing bloody stripes on His body. We can spend hours meditating on one verse. Jesus took 39 lashes on His back and medical research has confirmed that there are 39 root causes or categories for all diseases. Jesus took one lash for every category. “Healed” is in past tense assuring us of our healing. Hence, we are above all sickness.
Above All Sickness:
1. Hope: We have hope and help in God’s Word even if the medical help fails.
2. Heal: The antidote to all sickness is meditation on the Word of God.
3. Health: Meditate on God’s Word and the symptoms will vanish and health will restore.
The Word of God is the antidote to all sickness – We are above all sickness.
Prayer: Wonderful Saviour, I will meditate and mull over your Word and enjoy the fullness of health. Amen.
