05 July 2025 – Above All – Part 4

Genesis 26:12-13 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.

Above All Circumstances

We are above all chaos, catastrophe and climatic conditions when the Lord God is with us. We are above all circumstances and will never be knocked down by the storms of life. We will be the head; we will lead and not be dragged around by the crucible circumstance like a tail. We will face the same storms that the people of the world would face. The rejections, redundancies or recessions that push the people of the world into depression will give the child of God a thrust to fly higher.

Famine was widespread in the land. The Philistines were constrained with the lack of rain and water to irrigate their land. So, they did not sow in the year of drought.  However, the same year when the Philistines were mourning over their dry fields, Isaac sowed and reaped a hundredfold. There was dew and rain on his side of the suburb. When the people of the world were forced to take a pay cut, Isaac got promoted! He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him (vs 14). When those who have no faith in the Lord withered in dryness and drought, God’s children will flourish and prosper.

The God in us is much bigger than our biggest mountain. We will be above the rejection, redundancy or recession.

Above All Circumstances:

1.         Rejection: The envious Philistines ruthlessly stole the wells of Isaac and rejected him. The king said, “Move away from us; you have become too powerful for us” (vs 16b). When we are rejected, God is moving us into Rehoboth (vs 21) where there will be room to flourish.

2.         Redundancy: The fiendish Philistines quarreled, disputed and stopped up the wells of Isaac yet, God moved him to his promised possession. Redundancies are divine winds of redirection to our desired prosperous destiny.

3.         Recession: God’s children will be untouched by recession. In fact, recession is a time of exponential growth for the King’s kids.

We will be above only and not below the circumstances.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, with you on my side I will win all battles and overcome all circumstances. Amen.
