Mark 11:22-23 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.”
Buzzword is a trendy or fashionable word or phrase, often an item of jargon that is used at a particular time or in a particular context. Buzzwords are normally impactful, catchy and sophisticated. It is repeated to influence the thinking and the culture of a corporation, culture or a country.
Winston Churchill was known for his poetic rhetoric during World War II. Some of his famous buzzwords were “Victory at all cost”, “We shall never surrender”, “Blood, toil, tears, and sweat”. These became the ‘British mantra’ during the war that built resilience and resistance in the soldiers.
In the different seasons of our spiritual journey, “Biblical Buzzwords” are inevitable to carry us through the mountains and valleys and give us victory. There must be a word or a phrase resounding in our heart to keep our mind focused. The buzzword changes our thinking. Find a buzzword for your season. If you are in a season of “rest” it is time to “Arise and Shine”. If you are in a storm, your buzzword should be “Be Still”. Overcome sickness, darkness and the wilderness with profound Biblical Buzzwords from the scriptures that will bolster faith and breakthrough the closed doors.
The Biblical Buzzword to bulldoze the boulders and barriers that stagger our progress would be ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea’. It is not weird to talk to the obstacle that is stunting our growth.
“Stir the faith in your heart to surge up as words in your mouth.”
Biblical Buzzwords:
1. Believe: The buzzword will have life and effect only when we have clarity in our heart. We must believe in our heart that we have the authority to speak to the boulder in our way.
2. Boldness: Just believing in our heart will not uproot the mountain. We must declare and speak boldly.
3. Bulldoze: The Mountain will speak to us and intimidate us, if we don’t command and bulldoze it with our words.
Biblical Buzzwords will change our thinking and our lifestyle.
Prayer: Dearest Lord Jesus, teach me to bulldoze the boulders and barriers with Biblical buzzwords from the scriptures. Amen.
