Deuteronomy 20:4 The Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.
Biblical Buzzwords fortifies our faith and boosts our trust in the Lord. “We fight from Victory” is not just a catchy phrase but a Biblical Buzzword that keeps us in peace and joy. Buzzwords refresh us in the season of stress with trust and rest.
Just before the Israelites stepped into the season of war, the Lord gave them a solemn promise that they are not fighting for victory but from victory. The Buzzword for the soldiers was “Fight from Victory”. “When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you” (Deuteronomy 20:1). When we know the outcome of a battle there will be no fear about the future. Further when we know that the God of the Mighty Armies of heaven is accompanying us, we will be at rest.
The promise does not say “if” but “when you go to fight” which means that we would face and fight various battles. There will be health battles, wealth battles, political battles, power battles, business battles, envious battles and the list goes on. It does not matter how fierce the enemy is nor does it matter how powerful or affluent or opulent the opposing force is – we have the God of the Angel’s Armies with us. King Jesus knows no defeat!
“We are fighting from victory and not for victory”.
Biblical Buzzwords:
1. Rest: There is a restful mindset in the middle of the battle as we know the end. “Peace” will rule our mind as our victory is guaranteed.
2. Rejoice: There is rejoicing in the middle of a storm as we know what our future holds. “Joy” is our companion as our triumph is certain.
3. Refresh: There are no struggles, stress or strain in the storm – there will only be refreshing even in the tempest as the battle is the Lord’s.
The strategic Biblical Buzzword for battle is “We fight from victory”.
Prayer: Father God, I praise you for the blessed assurance that I need no struggle, stress and strain in the battles as I fight from victory! Amen.
