Philippians 1:28 Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.
“A good fight is a winning fight.”
Boldness is the “air-signal” in the spiritual realm that announces our victory. Our courageous response and resilience, when the heat waves blow, would send spiritual military signals to hell pronouncing their defeat. The demonic world will be perplexed when we stand tall in the face of hardship. The people around us watch us as we wade through challenges without fear or worry. Our boldness declares victory over adversity.
Paul and Silas responded to an illegal arrest and assault with praise, prayer and singing (Acts 16). The prisoners were listening to them but all of hell froze when they witnessed the boldness and attitude of these legendary missionaries. There would have been a celebration in hell when Paul and Silas were incarcerated, humiliated and locked up. But the party in hell would have come to a jostling stop when they saw the incense of worship rising from the bloodied prisoners and the dark dungeon! Instead of sulking or groaning in pain, Paul and Silas started singing and praising.
Praise paralyzes the demonic force. They hate to hear us praise the Lord as our worship sends an ambush into hell and confuses them. As hell started quaking in fear, there was a ripple effect of an earthquake in the city of Philippi, (modern day Greece). The earthquake flung open the prison doors and loosed the chains of the prisoners.
Walk with your head held high, come what may. God is much mightier than your biggest problems. He will do the impossible as we worship Him in difficulties. Our confidence and courage in the crisis causes hell-quakes.
Good Fight:
1. Tremors: Send hell-quakes and tremors to the diabolical ghetto with your boldness. All powers and authorities on earth and hell are under His feet.
2. Testimony: The enemy hates our testimonies. Testify about God’s goodness even before you see the breakthrough.
3. Triumph: Praise breaks the yoke and triumphs over the tragedy.
Boldness sends air-signals to hell declaring our victory.
Prayer: Dearest Lord Jesus, in the midst of tests and trials, teach me to walk in boldness – praising, praying and testifying your goodness. Amen.
