“Le Rêve” means ‘The Dream’ in French. The Le Rêve is considered as a masterpiece of one of the most famous and influential artists, Pablo Picasso. It is one of the highly priced paintings due to its intimate connection to Picasso’s personal life and passionate romance with his mistress Marie-Thérèse Walter. The personal connection of the painting with the artist has made Le Rêve priceless.
We are God’s priceless possessions as we were hand knit by the Creator. We were not in a one in a million mass production. He took personal interest and fashioned each one of us with His own hands. We were handmade, not machine produced. God took care of every little detail in our lives including our hair colour, eye colour and skin colour. The Lord God is intimately connected to each and every human being who is born in this world. No one is an accident and no one is unwanted. You and I are special, loved and chosen.
When we were a tiny substance that could not even be captured by the scan machine, God knew us and was working on us. “My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth” (vs 15). As the maker designs a product with an objective, our Heavenly Creator and Father had a divine purpose behind our creation. Those who find their purpose and divine appointment will accomplish great and mighty things and leave an indelible mark on the earth and also be celebrated in eternity.
We are God’s precious Le Rêve; “God’s Dream”, fashioned and made in His image. Find the divine dream, purpose and vision for your life.
Le Rêve:
1. Personal: The Creator has a personal connection with us as His fingerprints are on us. We have the DNA of Jesus.
2. Passion: The complex anatomy of man reveals the passion of God. His passionate hand painted every stroke on the canvas of our life.
3. Priceless: Our intimacy with the Saviour makes us precious. The initial of the Almighty is on our painting, making it priceless.
We are God’s ‘Le Rêve’, His Masterpiece.
