Psalm 149:6-7 May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples.
“Praise, Worship and Thanksgiving are the highest expressions of prayer”.
‘Praise is the battle cry’ and ‘worship the shout of victory’. In a spiritual, physical, relational or a financial battle praise and worship is the most powerful weapon that brings victory. Praising is the divine signal for the combat angelic hosts to advance on our behalf and worship overturns the enemy. When we start praising in a crisis the demons are confused and hell goes into commotion. Worship instead of worrying will perplex and petrify the diabolical realm. Worship wins the war.
The moment the harpist began to play, Prophet Elisha released the winning battle strategy to the kings stranded in the desert. Worship anointed him with the winning stratagem. While the harpist was playing, the hand of the Lord came on Elisha (2 Kings 3:15). The mighty hand of God started wielding against the enemies as soon as the praise and worship session in the desert commenced. At the time of morning sacrifice/(during worship), water flowed from the desert of Edom and filled the ditches for the soldiers and animals of the Israeli coalition to drink. But the same clear water that filled the ditches looked like blood to the Moabites/(enemies). The Lord confused the enemies and subdued them.
In a tensed turpitude “worship is our mighty weaponry”. Praise will calm down anxiety and defeat antagonism and animosity. In a catastrophe, choose to praise and worship over panic and worry. As praise arises, the angelic hosts will invade and violate the opposition.
True Worship:
- Stranded: Does it feel like you are stranded in the middle of the desert? Start praising the Lord and express your adoration in worship. As we praise, the mighty army of the Lord will be deployed to fight for us.
- Stuck: Does it feel like you are stuck in the same vicious cycle in your relationships, career or finance? The early morning worship releases the flow of divine wisdom.
- Sing: When stuck and stranded, sing praises to the Lord glorifying Him. Worship expresses our trust and dependency on Him.
Praise and Worship is the mighty weapon that wins battles.
