Mark 11:22-23 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
“Divine power is authority over mind, man and mammon”.
The viscosity of divine power is increased by believing. Believing is to “accept the Word of God as true” without doubting. Believing is fueled by our words and confessions. Faith in the heart when translated into words and bold declarations augment the divine power of God. Believing without doubting will unleash the awesome power of God. Faith is a force from within that reaches to heaven’s door and into the throne room of God. Miracles are sparked and birthed when simple childlike faith collides with the power of God. .
Jesus was not able to perform many mighty miracles amongst the non-believing crowd. And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith (Matthew 13:58). In the hometown of Jesus, Nazareth, people struggled to accept Jesus and hence their unbelief restricted the flow of divine power. The anointing on Jesus to cleanse the leper, open blind eyes and raise the dead was very much on Him in Nazareth but the doubting skeptical throng stopped the divine power from flowing. Unbelief is like an iron door that shuts the divine power of heaven from flowing on earth.
Believe and receive an increased measure of Divine Power:
- Step 1: The first step is to have faith in God; don’t focus on your abilities or the probabilities around you. Faith in God is to simply believe what the Word of God says is true.
- Step 2: Step 2 is to eliminate doubt. We can believe in the heart with doubt in the mind. Meditation of the Word of God in our heart will eliminate all doubt that harasses the mind.
- Step 3: Believe that God is at work even when we cannot see it tangibly. Speaking and declaring our faith boldly will help us to overcome doubt and disbelief. Unshakable faith inundates the earth with divine power.
The Divine power of God quadruples as we fully trust in God and His Word.
Prayer: Dear Lord, take away my unbelief and help me to trust you wholeheartedly. Amen.
