Proverbs 31:25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
The eyes of the heart that are enlightened to the riches of God’s glorious inheritance will rejoice at the days to come. Fear of the future will vanish once the eyes of our heart are opened to our birthright. Enlightened eyes will be able to see beyond the closed doors and the darkened sky into the riches stored in the secret place for God’s children. The virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31 was able to look into her future with confidence and rejoice at the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people.
When the Lord enlightens the eyes of our heart we will be able to see our prosperity, posterity, protection, promotions and possessions that are in God’s storehouse. Enlightened heart is free from worry and burden. The glorious inheritance is hidden in God’s promises. Being enlightened to the truth and the treasures that are available for His holy people is like finding the keys to the royal treasury. It is like knowing the password to unlock health, healing and honour.
Until God opens our eyes we will not see the blessings and our birthright. Hagar and her son were stranded in the wilderness without water or shelter. Hagar had lost all hope but Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink (Genesis 21:19). The well was right there but fear and fatigue had clouded her eyes that she could not see the life-giving waterhole that was at her hand’s reach. Likewise, unless the Lord opens our eyes we will not be able to see, receive or enjoy the rich inheritance that God has for us.
Pray for your spiritual eyes to see to God’s glorious inheritance:
- Principles: The principle to unlock ‘prosperity’ is unswerving ‘trust’. Those who trust in the LORD will prosper (Proverbs 28:25). Don’t chase prosperity, build trust.
- Precepts: The key to success is (Joshua 1:8). Meditate on His Word day and night.
- Priorities: Prioritize God’s Word, God’s will and walk in God’s way, then all that you need will automatically follow (Matthew 6:33).
Enlightened eyes unlock divine treasures.
Prayer: Dearest Holy Spirit, enlighten my eyes to see the blessings stored for me. Amen.
