2 Kings 6:12 “None of us, my lord the king,” said one of his officers, “but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”
A high-level government official with access to a nation’s secret strategies is known as a “Government Insider.” This intelligence officer has access to national security secrets, strategic defence plans, and the encrypted communication codes of the army, navy, and air force.
God’s anointed children are the high-level government officials of heaven. We have access to the secret strategies of heaven and also to the schemes of hell. There is a surveillance camera in heaven that exposes the plots of hell. Even before hell conspires an evil ruse, heaven has a defense plan. A praying anointed servant of God can sabotage the demonic schemes and destroy them even before they are birthed. He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness (Daniel 2:22). Hell’s secret codes to ensnare us into sickness, financial or emotional traps are encrypted and exposed in heaven. The Lord God reveals deep and secret things to those who seek Him.
The King of Aram plotted to attack Israel but even before his troops executed the ploy, the Lord God revealed the schemes to Prophet Elisha and Elisha would warn the king of Israel. The King of Aram was annoyed and enraged that there was an illegal informer in his kingdom who was leaking his secret schemes to Israel. The king of Aram’s advisors warned him that the “heavenly government insider,” the prophet Elisha, could spiritually overhear even the whispers spoken in the privacy of his secret chamber.
We are the Heavenly Government Insiders:
- Access: A praying child of God has access to the schemes of hell. The Lord God reveals secrets to those who seek Him in prayer, reverence and love.
- Audible: The schemes of hell are encrypted and played on a loudspeaker in heaven. Hell lost its privacy when Jesus spoilt all principalities and demonic authorities on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
- Alerts: The Holy Spirit gives us alerts about every move of the demonic realm. The security camera of heaven has a complete coverage of the cosmos.
The whispers of hell are broadcasted in heaven.
