01 January 2026 – Insider Information – Part 4

Psalm 121:5-6 The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

Politicians and celebrities are protected by “secret vigilance” known as “protective security”. Security teams, “The Intelligence Monitoring Officers” gather information about possible threats, online chatter, suspicious activity, or hostile individuals. Surveillance cameras and patrols will monitor and detect anyone following, observing, or planning an attack.

We are heaven’s celebrities – not because of our astounding achievement but because we are the Kings kids. The devil was shamefully defeated by Jesus. So, he is avariciously trying to hunt, hurt and tempt God’s children. He is lurking and prowling like a devouring lion waiting to pounce on anyone who would slip away from God’s protective radar. A careless comment, a wrong move or bad attitude opens the door to the demonic and makes us vulnerable to spiritual attack. Lack of spiritual discipline – fasting, missing prayer routines or meditation on the Word of God can make us susceptible. However, we have the Lord’s vigilant eyes watching over us. He is at our right hand to defend, protect and deliver even if we slip and fall.

We have an invisible firewall of divine protection around us. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the LORD (Zachariah 2:5). Anyone and anything that tries to touch us will be burnt down by the firewall of protection around us. The biometrics of hell are not recognized by the divine firewall. The knowledge of this “Insider Information” will keep us from terror or turpitude.

The Secret Vigilance:

  1. Sick: We are not under the weather – we are under the Lord’s shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. We are protected from the flu in winter and heatstroke of the summer sun.
  2. Slip: Even when we slip spiritually, the Lord’s hand is there to lift us up. He will not let your foot slip—He who watches over you will not slumber (vs 3).
  3. Shame: The Lord protects our reputation from shame or slander. The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life (vs 7).

The secret watchful eyes of the Lord protect us from all harm.

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, sharpen my spiritual ears to listen, obey and remain under your protective care. Amen.
