31 March 2026 – Favorite Destination – Part 6

Genesis 6:8-9 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

Visiting a friend or a relative who is loving, warm and welcoming would be joyful. We would look forward to such visits that are pleasant and pleasurable.

Of all the people of the earth, the eyes of the Lord fell on Noah. There were three distinct descriptions about Noah – he was righteous, blameless and faithful.  ‘Righteous living’ is to align with God’s ways, Word and will. ‘Blamelessness’ is defined in (Psalm 19:12-13) Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless. A lifestyle free of hidden, willful and stubborn sins is a blameless lifestyle. Then, the devil will have nothing to accuse us of when he stands in the court of heaven. Faithfulness can be defined as our consistent and persistent walk with the Lord. Noah’s faithfulness was proved by his diligent execution of God’s plan in building the ark before the flood. Tenacious walk of faith makes us faithful. Righteousness, blamelessness and faithfulness made Noah’s tent God’s favorite destination.

The Lord has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us. However, we will experience the manifestation of His power and glory in our lives only when we are in right standing with God. Therefore, since we have been made righteous through his faithfulness, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). Righteousness is not our own doing or good works. We are righteous before God only through the remission of our sins through His blood. Further God-centered, God-conscious lifestyle will keep us from hidden, stubborn and willful sins. Fear of the Lord will make us sincere, honest and faithful. God’s eyes are searching through the earth to find the righteous, blameless and faithful to manifest His power through them.

God’s Favorite Destination:

  1. Fear: “His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation” (Luke 1:50).
  2. Fervent: Fervency for the Lord and thirst for righteousness makes us very attractive in God’s eyes.
  3. Faithful:  The faithful will never be forgotten.

Righteous, blameless and faithful heart is God’s favorite destination.

Prayer: Father God, help me to live a righteous, blameless and faithful life like Noah. Amen.
