Jeremiah 32:17 ‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
God is the ultimate authority of the universe. There is no power above Him, there is no one before Him and there is no one to oppose Him. Satan or Lucifer is not the opposite of God. He is just a created being and a fallen angel. He is the enemy of humanity who fiercely attacks those who love God; however, we, God’s righteous, have all authority to crush the power of satan under our feet. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you (Luke 10:19). Yes satan has powers, but we have authority to incarcerate the demonic forces and lock them up in the dungeon. “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18). The destructive demonic powers have no right to wander scot-free in the life of a child of God. We have the arrest warrant to imprison demons in our hands. Hence we need not fear furious men or ferocious demons. We can boldly declare the Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me? (Hebrews 13:6). Be audacious in faith as God has the final word on everything.
There was an enemy of the Jews, Haman, in the citadel of Susa, Persia. Haman plotted a wicked ploy to annihilate all the Jews with a decree. However, God had the final verdict. He gave Queen Esther favour in the eyes of the King to override the written judgment. God turned the tables around and hung Haman in the same gallows that he prepared for Mordecai, Esther’s uncle.
God has the final word on everything that is happening in our life. Yet not even a hair of your head will perish (Luke 21:18), without the permission of our Heavenly Father.
God is the ultimate authority:
1. First: Do not fear new beginnings. Plunge into the new seasons holding on to the hands of Jesus. Speak the promises aloud to send forth His Word to open the door, find favour and break barriers. What God begins no man can stop. He will finish what He begins.
2. Foray: Don’t be afraid of the foray (attack) of the enemy. Laugh at the attacking enemy with confidence. No force on earth or heaven can stand against God’s plan. Just be steadfast in your faith.
3. Final: Do not fear the future. God has the ultimate verdict. The end of a matter or the final verdict is not in the hands of a judge or jury but it is in the hands of the Lord God Almighty.
God has the final word on everything that happens in the natural and the supernatural.
Romans 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
Prayer: Almighty Father, I am safe in your arms as you have the final word on anything that I’m going through. I will not be defeated and I will not be put to shame. Amen
