24 July 2024 – God and Me – Part 3

Proverbs 31:25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

The ‘God and Me time’ or our personal prayer time forms a “God-Bubble” around us. There is strength, dignity, courage, self-worth, joy, peace and confidence about the future within this bubble. “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, from this time forth and forevermore.” He surrounds His people (Psalm 125:2). It is an impenetrable bubble through which the enemy can only see us but cannot touch or harm us. God-Bubble gives us a lift from lowly and mediocre thinking. The God-Bubble raises us above the problems, prognosis and predictions. We will view the world and the whirlwind from God’s perspective. Hence we will be able to laugh with confidence and courage at the days to come.

The more time we spend with the Lord God, our ‘God-Bubble’ enlarges and becomes bigger and stronger. As we prioritize spending time with the Lord, meditating His Word and conversing with Him, an invisible ‘God-Bubble’ fortifies our family and our territory. The bubble shrinks when we stop praying but the bubble is pumped with power when we pray without ceasing. The God-Bubble is our protection, power and our potency.

A young prophet was sent to reprimand the King Jeroboam about his idolatrous worship. When King Jeroboam heard what the man of God cried out against the altar at Bethel, he stretched out his hand from the altar and said, “Seize him!” But the hand he stretched out toward the man shriveled up, so that he could not pull it back (1 Kings 13:4). The hand of the king could not penetrate through the protective layers of the ‘God-Bubble’ and it shriveled.

In our prayer closet, the breadth of heaven will blow the ‘God-Bubble’ of protection around us. We walk out into the day with divine strengthsupernatural courage and God-confidence.

God and Me:

1.         Boldness: In the God-Bubble, there is boldness and bravery beyond human comprehension. No matter how fearful or fierce the storm is, we will enjoy Godly peace in the God-Bubble.

2.         Buoyancy: In the God-Bubble, there is buoyancy. Nothing will be able to knock us down or depress us. There will be hope beyond the uncertainty and a Godly resistance to despondency.

3.         Bulwark: God-Bubble is our bulwark. Nothing can break through the bubble of God’s fortification. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will be its glory within.’ (Zachariah 2:5). Recession could make the banks go bust, trusted friends/family could break the bubble of confidence but God-Bubble is the fire wall of protection and bulwark around those who love Him.

‘God and Me’ prayer time will build a bulwark of God-Bubble around us. The hand of the enemy that tries to touch the God-Bubble around us will shrivel and fall.

Psalm 3:3 But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for the assurance that you are a fire wall and the impassable bubble of protection around me. Amen.
