Joshua 6:4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets.
The Ark of the Lord brought victory to the Joshua generation. Hosting the presence of the Lord and carrying the anointing of the Lord is the key to our breakthroughs.
The Lord commanded Joshua to send seven priests blowing the trumpets of ram’s horns in front of the Ark. Praise always precedes God’s awesome presence. The Israelites witnessed the fortified ramparts and battlements of Jericho crumble like a pack of cards as they carried the Ark of God around the walls of Jericho. The victory cannot be accredited to the priests or the praise but the presence of the Lord that was with them. It was important for the priest to carry the ark, and the people to shout praises in one accord, but the power of the breakthrough is in His awesome presence.

The impassable wall and the formidable enemy quivered at the sight of the Ark. Invite the indomitable presence of the Lord into your crucible circumstance. The Lord not only tore down the walls of Jericho but also gave the king and the fighting men into the hands of Joshua. His presence brings breakthroughs.
Hosting the presence brings victory:
1. Voice: We cannot contain our praise when we abide in God’s presence. Praise will be our mother tongue. As we raise a voice of praise, we will be bolstered with the hosts of heaven and barriers will diminish and vanish.
2. Virtue: Obedience, faithfulness and holiness are the virtues that nurture the presence of God. We cannot enjoy the power of supernatural breakthroughs without holiness and purity.
3. Victory: Where His presence is there is victory. See the situation through the eyes of God. To the Lord, the fierce enemy and the insurmountable wall only looked like buzzing horn bees and a pack of playing cards. Take your eyes away from reality and focus on the sovereignty of our God.
“Hosting the presence of the Lord brings supernatural breakthroughs”.
Prayer: Sovereign Lord, help me to see the world and the impossible situations around me through your eyes. As I carry your presence into the impossibilities, they will crumble and fall. Amen.
