22 April 2025 – Divine Deposit – Part 7

Matthew 25:29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

“Where focus goes, energy flows. And where energy flows, whatever you’re focusing on grows” – Tony Robbins.

What we focus on grows and what we adore, we worship. What our mind is fixated on is where our energy flows. If we focus on our career, our mind will be engrossed in our professional life. If we focus on becoming famous, our energy will be expended on building our popularity and prominence. If we focus on living godly lives, then our spiritual energy will be channeled to growing holiness and humility. Directing our spiritual energy to nurture the seeds of the fruit of the spirit – (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control), will sprout, bud and blossom godly succulent spiritual fruits.

Jesus made a very profound statement in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”. He said our focus and energy will flow towards the treasures that we are chasing. What we treasure, we focus on, what we focus on will activate and cultivate, and what we cultivate will eventually determine our destiny. This is why in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), the master took the one bag of gold from the lazy servant, who did not invest the gold but hid it in the ground, and gave it to the one who had multiplied the ten bags of gold into twenty.

Focusing on nurturing divine deposit makes us “Rich in God”. Those who fail to invest in eternal riches will die poor!
