Job 19:26-27 And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!
To be miracle-minded simply means to live in the faith-realm. There are three broad categories of minds and thinking patterns – photo-realistic visual thinking, pattern mathematical thinking, and verbal/auditory thinking.
Visual thinkers see pictures and retain information as images. This is called a photographic memory. Mathematical thinkers form commonsensical, rational and problem solving patterns. They retain information by searching for proof and reasoning for everything. Mathematicians are also musicians as they are wired to recognize logical patterns. Verbal thinkers process and retain information by using words. They often have an inner dialogue and form ideas in their head. Miracle-minded use all three thinking patterns to form pictures, evidences and inner dialogues to see and speak into the spiritual-realm. Miracle-minded do not see the sickness they see the healing through the Word of God. They don’t see recession, they see their promotion in the midst of the depression. They don’t see or accept defeat but win their distress with positive affirmation based on the promises of God.
Job was in a pathetic state. His body was festered with boils, he had lost his children, his wife was embittered; his cattle, livestock and wealth had wasted away, but he saw into the faith-realm and affirmed the restoration in the midst of the utter destruction. He reiterated that his own eyes will see the deliverance of the Lord.
Seeing beyond the reality and visualizing the promises of God coming to fruition, would become the “substance” of our faith.
Miracle-Minded Vision:
1. Visual: The miracle-minded are visual thinkers and have a vision of God’s prophecies and promises embedded in their heart. Hence the reality will not faze them. They know that this too will pass.
2. Verbal: The miracle-minded are verbal thinkers and see into the faith-realm by their spoken words. As they declare the promises of God, it forms visions that manifest as miracles in their lives.
3. Virtual: The miracle-minded are mathematical thinkers who accept logic but overrule the facts by faith.
The vision of the miracle-minded gives birth to miracles.
Prayer: Father God, help my visual, verbal and virtual thinking to conceive, incubate and give birth to miracles. Amen.
