Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
Legs of faith will squash satan, snakes and scorpions. A normal human cannot trample on a snake unharmed. A python can swallow a human alive! But legs of faith stand in the shoes and authority of the Almighty God. “The giant feet of the Lord will go before us when we stand on our legs of faith.” The Lord said, “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool” (Isaiah 66:1). The size of the earth is the shoe size of our Saviour. The giant feet of the Lord steps before us, when the enemy comes against us.
The king of Canaan, Jabin cruelly oppressed Israel for 20 years. The Lord raised Deborah the Prophetess and Barak, a timid man from the tribe of Naphtali to go against the enemy. Deborah said to Barak, “Go! …. Has not the Lord gone ahead of you?” (Judges 4:14). As Barak advanced, the Lord stepped before him and crushed the enemy and his 900 iron chariots. The 40,000 soldiers with Barak had no armory to fight (Judges 5:8), yet they marched with the legs of faith and the giant feet of the Lord completely obliterated the oppressing enemy’s troops.
When we take our stand with our legs of faith and speak authoritatively to the monster and the mountain, the giant feet of God goes before us and tramples the snakes and the scorpions.
Legs of Faith trample the enemy:
1. Authorized: Jesus had given us the authority to stampede the hellish mobsters. Exercise the authority by speaking the Word of God against the diabolical force.
2. Advance: Don’t let fear paralyze you. Advance and move forward with your legs of faith with prayer and praise when attacked by a disappointment or diagnosis. Then, God’s giant feet will go before you and crush the satanic invasion.
3. Annihilate: No problem is too big for the giant feet of God to trample. Raise a battle cry of praise and annihilate the enemy.
“Authoritatively advance with the legs of faith and God’s giant feet will go before you and trample the wicked forces.”
Prayer: Dearest Lord Jesus, I will march boldly with my legs of faith as your Giant Feet is going before me. Amen.
