09 July 2025 – Hey Siri – Part 1

Psalm 103:20 Bless the LORD, all His angels mighty in strength who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.

Siri is a digital voice assistant developed by Apple and she has become the best friend to those who use Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches etc. About 36% of people who use Apple devices use Siri for help. In fact, most of them go to Siri even before they contact a human!

Siri uses voice recognition to process the audio and ‘speech recognition technology’ to translate our voice into codes, breaking down the codes to identify patterns, phrases, and keywords. “Hey Siri” is the activation phrase of this amazing “Apple Assistant”. Siri will refuse to respond to “Hey Sarah”. Also, Siri is your personal assistant. She will not help your friend or spouse. They cannot activate Siri as she will not recognize their voices. However, the disadvantages of using Siri are that Siri is internet dependent and Siri could misinterpret our query and give us incorrect responses.

The Lord God has given us “Angelic Assistants” as our divine helpers. Angelic Assistants like Siri respond to our voices and accurate vocabulary. God’s Word is God’s voice. Angles respond to God’s Word. We attract angels when we confess and profess the Word of God. “He sends his angels like the winds, his servants like flames of fire.” (Hebrews 1:7). Angels are assigned as our assistants and aids and they are watching and waiting on us even if we do not see them.

Run to the Saviour for Angelic Assistants and not to Siri for Apple Assistance.

Angelic Assistants:

1.         Voice: Siri will only respond to your voice, similarly, angels will only respond to the Word of God. Confessing the Word of God attracts the attention of angels and activates angelic assistance.

2.         Vocabulary: Siri cannot be addressed as ‘Sarah’; likewise, we cannot speak fear and activate faith. We must use the vocabulary of heaven to get divine assistance. Grumbling about the problem is like calling “Hey Sarah” instead of “Hey Siri”.

3.         Verification: Siri will assist only after the voice verification is done; correspondingly, angels will assist only after divine verification.

Are you using Apple Assistance or Angelic Assistants?

Prayer: Father God, thank you for assigning your mighty angelic assistance to help and support me. Amen.
