Ecclesiastes 5:6a Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger (angel) of God that it was an error.
To get information from Siri, we need to give clear instructions. If we say, “Hey Siri, call Ben,” she’ll respond by asking which Ben we mean — ‘Ben Baker’ or ‘Ben Black’? The instructions to Siri must be clear and precise for her to carry out the task given. If not, the Apple Assistant will not be able to assist us.
Allegorically, Angelic Assistants are our divine Siris who carry our prayers, petitions, requests and conversations to heaven. They not only listen to our prayers but are our divine courier service. They translate our prayers into divine codes and communicate to the satellite in heaven. On the contrary, garrulous chatter, gossip and grumblings attract the attention of the evil spirits. Our conversation will either invite the divine helpers or demonic bandits.
We have an invisible audience who listen and record our conversations. Angelic Assistants will be confused if there is inconsistency in our prayers and our conversations. We cannot pray in faith, then speak words of fear and excuse them as a slip of the tongue. Be mindful of your words, as we have the ears of heaven listening to our private conversations. Faith prayers must be followed by faith filled confessions and conversations. “Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit” (1 Peter 3:10). Careless, doubtful and inconsistent words confuse the angelic assistants.
Angelic Assistants:
1. Consistent: Our instructions to Siri must be clear, if not Siri will say, “Sorry I can’t help you”. It is the same with the angelic assistants. Our prayer, intercessions and confessions must be consistent and clear.
2. Careless: Careless and fearful confession will shut the door on divine help. To receive divine help we must guard our mouth from careless conversations and confession.
3. Confusion: Angelic hosts will be puzzled if we pray faith but speak fear. Negative confession will make the angelic assistants inactive. Don’t confuse them.
Angelic Assistants will be confused by conversations that are contradictory to our faith confessions.
Watch your words.
Prayer: Father God, help me to guard my mouth from inconsistent conversation and fearful confessions that would confuse the angelic assistants. Amen.
