Ephesians 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
“Mindcraft is a proactive approach where individuals consciously shape their thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives to foster growth and navigate challenges effectively. It means architecting your mental space, decluttering negative thoughts, and planting seeds of positivity, resilience, and ambition.”
Mindcraft is refurbishing our mind and renewing our attitude in true righteousness and holiness. A disciplined and teachable mind is a renewed mind that has put on the new attitudes and attributes of Christ Jesus. Many people try to change their spouse, siblings and surroundings but the environment will change when their attitudes are reformed. “If you want to change the world, you have to begin with yourself”.
The 3-3-3 rule is a brilliant tool to revamp the attitude of our mind. Firstly, “Ruminate on Scriptures”. It is important to read, retain and repeat relevant scriptures that will re-tune our thinking pattern. It does not happen in one day. It must be our daily routine to repeat, recollect and ruminate and transform. Secondly, “Reduce Waste”. An average person spends about 2 ½ hours on social media. Time management and organized lifestyle to make the best use of our time will keep our mind focused and productive. Thirdly, “Reset to Reflect”. Humbling, committing and surrendering our mind and mouth every day to reflect Jesus is inevitable.
Mindcraft – New Attitude of Christ:
1. Tongue: Slip of the tongue is the ponderings of the mind. Repressed desires and unresolved conflicts spit out as unwholesome words. Decluttering the mind will sanitize our tongue.
2. Temper: Be angry but sin not, Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry (Ephesians 4:26).
3. Thoughts: It is very important to have control over our thoughts. Capturing unwanted, unwholesome and ugly thoughts and bringing it under the submission of Jesus is the process of renewing our mind. Uncontrolled thoughts will make the tongue wild, and the temper unleashed. Futile thinking will harden the heart.
Mindcraft is to renew our attitude to become like Christ.
Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, refurbish my thoughts and attitudes, and transform my mind to radiate Jesus. Amen.
