Ephesians 6: Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
“Spiritual warfare is an attack from the demonic realm to stop, stagger and sabotage our progress both in the spiritual and material realm.”
Strategic planning is vital for victory.. Without plans, positions and principles no battle can be won, more so spiritual battles. The first principle to know in a spiritual battle is that “we fight from victory and not for victory”. Jesus has already won the battle and we take our position and stand our ground to receive the crown. So, be girded with the armour of God to triumph over the attacking diabolical mob.
All attacks on the health, wealth or wellbeing come with an attack on the mind. As a warrior of Christ, we win our battles in our mind, in the spiritual realm before we see the victory manifest in the physical realm. “Rulers” are those who try to rule and ruin our mind with fear, anger, envy, bitterness or unforgiveness. “Demonic authorities” are conniving to separate families, friends, communities and churches with offense and spiritual pride. They plot to sabotage peace and unity. “Powers of the dark world” are demonic agents that scheme witchcraft, sorcery, black magic and the like. The “spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies” are the territorial spirits and demonic armies. Discern the intensity of the attacking force and take your victory stand.
Spiritual Warfare – Fighting from Victory:
1. Weaponry: Our weaponry to win the battle to defeat the “rulers” and confuse the “demonic authorities” is not carnal weapons of arguments, strife or division but spiritual weapons of love, peace and unity. Defeat the thoughts of animosity, low self-esteem and resentment with the Word of God.
2. Warrior: The angelic armies stand around us as a firewall of protection to reroute the arrows of divination, spells and enchantment back to hell. Fasting, praying and confession of the promises make us skilled warriors.
3. War: The combat angelic armies fight the “spiritual forces of darkness”, in the heavenlies and overthrow them as we fast and pray.
We fight from victory with divine ammunition and the angelic hosts and overthrow the diabolical forces.
Prayer: Victorious King, thank you for the victory I have in you in all things at all times. Amen.
