06 November 2025 – Divine Power – Part 2

Matthew 8:8b But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

“Divine power is authority over mind, man and mammon”.

God’s Word is packed with power. When we read the Word of God we receive power, when we meditate on it – we increase power, and when we declare it – we release power. When the Lord God speaks a verse in our heart, He imparts power. The written Word, Logos, is loaded with the dynamite of God’s power. The spoken Word, Rhema, is the ‘Fresh Word’ for a specific situation. Those who seek the power of God must love His Word, read, meditate and declare God’s Word. God’s Word endows us with divine power.

The centurion who came to Jesus for a healing understood the power of the spoken; the Rhema Word of God. He did not call a Pharisee to read healing scriptures from the Torah. He went to Jesus for a fresh Rhema Word. The Rhema Word of God that is received and spoken will be released like a bullet drone to annihilate the sickness, satanic invasion and sin.

The written Word, the Bible, is God’s thoughts, His will, ways and plans for our life. As we read the written Word, Logos, and meditate on it, God’s Word is stored in our heart. The Holy Spirit will bring a specific verse, concept or chapter of the written Word stored in our heart to our memory for our specific situation. This is the Rhema Word or a specific promise or direction for our situation. The Rhema Word is like a missile—charged with power.

God’s Wordthe dynamite of Divine Power:

  1. Read: Read methodically. Meditating the scriptures will imprint God’s Word in the tablet of our heart.
  2. Remind: The Holy Spirit will remind us of a verse or an excerpt that is stored in our heart for our specific situation.
  3. Release: Listen to the Holy Spirit to impress the Rhema Word for every situation then release the Word in faith. We cannot pick a verse that comforts us and claim it. Listen, receive and release.

When we read the Word of God, we receive power, when we meditate, we increase power, and when we declare believing, we release power.

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, train my soul to read, meditate and release your Rhema Word that is packed with power. Amen.
