Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
“Dunamis Power” (Greek: dýnamis) is the miraculous, transformational and supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus sent the Dunamis Power, the Holy Spirit to us when He finished His work on earth. This power is available to all believers who desire and welcome Him to dwell and flow through them.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus. It is the same Spirit of Truth that empowered Jesus to preach messages that transformed lives, raised the dead, cleansed lepers and opened blind eyes. It is the same Spirit of Grace that healed broken hearts and withered hands. The Spirit of Love that did miracles that cannot be reasoned or researched. This Dunamis Power to touch, transform and triumph is imparted into you and me.
Dynamite is useless unless it is ignited. The same metaphor is true to the Dunamis Power in you and me. The resurrected power of God in us, the Holy Spirit is a person; He is not a dove, a force or a wind. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead indwelling in us and on us to empower us to be the hands and feet of Jesus on this world. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you (Acts 1:8). We have the power to destroy the diabolical forces, set the captives free and break bondages residing in us. Ignite the anointing.
Dunamis Divine Power:
- Dynamic: The anointing of the Holy Spirit will make us dynamic preachers and influential speakers. He transforms ordinary people into extraordinary transformational influencers. Desire to know Him more and He will make you a dynamic leader.
- Dunamis: Those who understand the Dunamis Power of God in them can never be threatened by anything. No demon, no danger and no deception can derail them. Seek the Dunamis power of God.
- Dangerous: The Dumamis Divine power makes us dangerous and a threat to hell.
“Earnestly desire the Dunamis Divine Power of God and take authority over the demonic realm”.
Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I welcome us to anoint me with the Dunamis Power and use me to destroy the strongholds of hell. Amen.
