27 November 2025 – Building Project – Part 2

Isaiah 58:12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

Many struggle to find their calling and purpose in life. Jesus taught spiritual lessons by using visual aids of the flora, fauna and flowers. He gave them practical examples to help them understand deep theological truth. He taught them to overcome worry with worship by watching the birds of the air. He instilled compassion in the hearts of the listeners to love their neighbour and hate evil through storytelling – the parable of the Samaritan. Likewise, He trains us with practical training. He builds us up in the areas we were once weak, bound or broken and uses us to build others. He tutors us through tests to become His hands and feet to rebuild the simple and vulnerable. He repairs the broken and restores the disqualified to become Kingdom Builders!

‘Ancient ruins’ refer to generational curses that have been passed on through the family bloodline. Many don’t even realize that there is an invisible arm that is stealing, killing and destroying their posterity and prosperity. God delivered us from sickness, sinfulness and shame to rebuild those who are struggling with illness and generational curses. Kingdom builders/(ministers) are not perfect humans, but imperfect people restored through the cross and redeemed by His blood. They have practical and hands-on experience in rebuilding ruins. Jesus, after His resurrection, rebuilt the faith of Peter so that he would strengthen others whose faith is frail and fragile. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers (Luke 22:32).

You are a Kingdom Builder:

  1. Restore: Restore hope of salvation to the despondent and disheartened. Sharing our restoration story will inculcate hope and set the bound free.
  2. Repair: The hands of our Saviour were gentle when He repaired our mess and broken thinking – show the same mercy to others.
  3. Rebuild: You have been restored to restore, repair and rebuild others. The very obsession, rut or pit that we were delivered from will become our ministry ground.

“The misery from which we were redeemed becomes the ministry ground through which we rebuild others”.

Prayer: Father God, rebuild me and make me a Kingdom builder for your glory. Amen.
