Matthew 1:21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
Jesus means “Saviour” or “God Saves”. The bundle of joy that Mary held in her hands was the Saviour of the World. The demonic realm was closely following every stage of the arrival of the Messiah and battled to stop the birth of Jesus from creation until Christmas. Mr. Devil tried his best to annihilate the Jews and prevent the virgin birth foretold in the scriptures.
While Israel was in exile after the Babylonian and Assyrian invasions, Haman, the Prime Minister of Persia, a wicked man, coined a plan to completely wipe out the Israelites who were scattered in the 127 provinces of the vast Persian Empire. He plotted a mass genocide to completely decimate the Jewish race. However, the Lord’s plan to save the world could not be aborted or stopped. God raised Queen Esther and her uncle Mordecai to re-write the decree that was against the Jews. Now write another decree in the king’s name in behalf of the Jews as seems best to you, and seal it with the king’s signet ring (Esther 8:8). Esther and Mordecai feature in the Nativity as the Lord used them to turn the evil ploy to exterminate the Jews and sabotage the arrival of the Messiah.
As we endeavour to share the love of Christ to those living in bondages, addictions and sin, the spirit of Haman will rise up and plot to stop the birth of the Saviour in the darkened hearts. We who fight against the vicious spirit of Haman are part of the Nativity. The Word of God prevails over the demonic plans.
We are part of Nativity:
- Annihilate: We have the authority to overpower and annihilate the serpents and the satanic forces. The Word of God is the written decree for our salvation. Be the Esther and Mordecai and override and annihilate the demonic ploy.
- Abort: God’s plan cannot be aborted. Stand in prayer and fasting to abort and terminate the demonic plans.
- Authority: Exercise your authority against the demon gangsters.
Annihilate the diabolical forces and abort their demonic plans; use your authority.
Prayer: Father God, I will take my position in prayer and stand against the evil forces in the dark places. Amen.
