Mark 11:22&24 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
The Literal Translation Version says, And Jesus answering says to them, “Have faith from God. The seventh step in the ladder of faith is to have the God kind of faith. Faith is built on relationships. The more and more we know a person the stronger and bolder our faith grows. Knowing the nature of God, understanding the heart of God through His Word and His voice builds the “God kind of Faith” in us.
God kind of Faith takes God’s Word as the conclusive evidence on any issue. It is not weakened by reality but faces facts boldly. Faith does not waiver regarding the promises of God but walks triumphantly holding onto the Word of God. ‘God kind of Faith’ has the mind of God. God kind of faith does not react to tests but responds like Jesus. Jesus slept through the storm and when He woke up, rebuked the storm and sailed to the shore.
Storms are inevitable. There will be some strong winds blowing at us to topple our boat. No matter how fierce the storm is, the God kind of faith will not lose sleep over it. ‘God kind of faith’ is secure in Him and will not be intimidated by slander, sickness or scarcity. God kind of faith will pray and believe based on the promises of God and rest and experience breakthroughs.
God kind of faith trusts and rests.
God kind of Faith:
- Weaken: Facts weaken faith. Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead (Romans 4:19a). God’s sovereignty rules over the reality of a medical condition, mental trauma or money matters.
- Waiver: God’s Word is enough evidence. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God (Romans 4:20a). Don’t waiver – if God has spoken it is done.
- Worship: Worship is the spiritual force that converges the spiritual and the natural realm. Worship while you are waiting. Worship is the language of the “God kind of Faith”.
‘God kind of faith’ is not weakened, does not waiver but worships.
Prayer: God my Father, help me to grow into the God kind of faith and live victoriously. Amen.
