Esther 8:2 And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.
Breakthrough is not an ordinary advancement or a step forward. It is a dramatic advancement and a dynamic progression breaking demonic barriers and demolishing the diabolical strongholds.
Breakthrough is not an ordinary victory but an outstanding victory. It is the victory of the underdog overthrowing the violent with the help of the Almighty God.
The victory of Queen Esther and Mordecai was an outstanding breakthrough victory. The Lord caused the enemy to fall into the trap that he set for God’s children. So they impaled Haman on the pole he had set up for Mordecai. Then the king’s fury subsided (Esther 7:10). The enemy’s devious plot was overturned on him.
The extraordinary victory did not come easy. Esther and her attendants fasted for 3 days without food or water and Mordecai and the entire community of the Jewish exiles fasted and cried to the Lord. Then, Esther put on her royal robes and stood before the king to petition for her people.
We are not underdogs being dragged by people, politics or policies. We are royalty. Don’t be intimidated by powerful people, politicians or government policies. Put on our royal robes and stand firm in fasting and prayer.
We are royalty and the precious possession of God our Father. The people close to his heart (Psalm 148:14b). We are blessed and favoured by the Almighty. Put on the royalty and stand in fasting and prayer, to walk into stupendous victory.
Breakthrough Victory:
- Identity: Our identity is not our jobs, qualifications or status. We are His children, the citizens of heaven and God’s favoured servants. We have all of heaven backing us up. No demon can wag his tail at us.
- Insight: God’s Word is insightful and makes us wiser than our enemies. He will turn their snare of the enemy back on them (Psalm 119:98).
- Influence: Fasting and prayer is the most powerful influential tool that brings outstanding victory. When we fast and pray, hell is struck with darkness, dread and destruction.
Outstanding breakthrough victory destroys the demonic plans and overturns it on the enemy.
Prayer: Father Almighty, teach me the strategies of breakthrough victory in the spiritual and demonic attacks I face and overthrow them. Amen.
