17 July 2026 – ISO 9000 – Part 2

Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.

“We will be tested and proved.”

ISO 9000 refers to international standards for quality management systems (QMS) developed by the International Organization for Standardization. These standards ensure that the products and services of an organization are consistent, reliable, customer-focused and continually improving.

The Bible is our spiritual ISO QMS guide. The precepts of God’s Word coach us to live a God-centered, holy and productive life. The Spirit of God who works in us to be obedient to His direction and to respond to His commandments in order to accomplish His purpose for us. So, no one can boast about their accomplishments.

While Moses was pampered in the palace God burdened his heart to deliver his people who were under the tyranny of slavery. Moses responded to the nudge of the Spirit and forsook the comfortable lifestyle to fulfill his purpose. It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible (Hebrews 11:27). A step towards a purposeful life starts with a decision to heed to the call of God.

God had to change and mold Moses before He could use him. Discipline follows decisions that would lead us to our destiny. Moses was sent to a Bible Training College for 40 years in the wilderness where he went through various courses such as anger management, humility, patience etc. Once he qualified as a pastor, God appointed him as a shepherd over His people.

We were created to fulfill God’s purpose on earth and the Holy Spirit will nudge us with insights, burdens and revelation to direct us towards our destiny.

Spiritual ISO 9000:

  1. Decision: A prolific and productive life starts with a decision to be obedient to God’s Word.
  2. Discipline: A disciplined prayer life will tune our ears to hear Him. Studying the Word will coach us to be consistent, reliable and fruitful.
  3. Direction: God directs a divine decision and a disciplined servant to accomplish His divine purpose.

“It is God who directs us into a prolific and purposeful life.”

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I submit to be disciplined and directed by You to live a purposeful life. Amen.
