Hebrews 9:12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.
Antidote is the remedy that counteracts poison, harmful substances and its effects. It neutralizes, reverses and nullifies the effects of toxins, venom and its destructive influence. Antidote is the healing counterforce.
The blood in our body plays a vital role in healing injuries. The platelets in the blood gather at the wound and form a clot to stop excessive bleeding. The red blood cells carry oxygen to the damaged cells to produce energy to repair themselves. Blood also transports proteins, vitamins, minerals, glucose, and other nutrients that are essential to build new cells. The white blood cells travel through the injured area destroying bacteria, viruses, and other harmful organisms.
Similarly, the blood of Jesus is the only antidote that heals our body, mind and spirit. Spiritually, the healing antidote to an irreversible condition or a malignant disease is the blood of Jesus. Receiving the blood as the healing antidote in faith repairs infections, injuries and illness. The blood of Jesus applied spiritually over our discombobulated mind sets us free from desperation, depression and despondency. The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit? (Proverbs 18:14). Broken spirit is a loss of hope, deep sorrow and crushed will. It is when a person loses their inner joy, strength and hope. Only the blood of Jesus can repair and restore a broken spirit with spiritual proteins, vitamins, minerals, glucose, and other nutrients to rebuild the brokenness. Spiritual application of the blood will destroy the bacteria of spiritual numbness, dejection and sadness.
The Blood is the antidote:
- Repairs: The blood of Jesus repairs the conditions that are irreparable and irreversible medically. Diabetes, hypertension or malignancy that cannot be healed medically can be healed by applying the blood of Jesus in faith.
- Restores: The blood restores the broken thinking, negative cycles and mental illness.
- Rebuilds: As the blood in our physical body repairs, restores and rebuilds, the Blood of Jesus is the antidote to our body, mind and broken spirit.
The blood is the only antidote to the broken body, mind and spirit.
Prayer: Dearest Jesus, I receive and apply the blood over my body, mind and spirit. Amen.
