21 July 2026 – ISO 9000 – Part 6

John 14:23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them”.

“We will be tested and proved.”

ISO 9000 refers to international standards for quality management systems (QMS) developed by the International Organization for Standardization. The organizations that achieve ISO 9000 certification would have preferential access to grants. Continuous compliance of high standards would list them as a “preferred supplier” and be recognized on the industry leaderboard.

Metaphorically the spiritual ISO 9000 certificate will list us on the leaderboard in heaven. Continuous integrity is proved by our love to walk diligently in the ways of the Lord. Obedience to His Word will make us shine like gold in the spiritual realm. Hell trembles, and heaven rejoices, at a man or woman who walks in purity, obedience and holiness. Obedience to God’s Word is an expression of our love and gratitude to the Lord.

The bricks of obedience build our lives upon Jesus Christ, the Rock, and the storms will reveal the strength of our foundation. “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock” (Matthew 7:24-25). God will make a distinction between those who love Him and obey His Words and the hypocrites who preach and do not practice.

King David is celebrated as the greatest king of Israel as walking in God’s will was his delight. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground (Psalm 143:10).

Spiritual ISO 9000 Continuous Compliance:

  1. Desire: The journey of obedience might not always be exciting but is very rewarding. I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart” (Psalm 40:8).
  2. Delight: God’s Word must delight us. I shall delight in Your commandments (Psalm 119:47). A lack of enthusiasm for God’s Word can make us vulnerable to temptation.
  3. Diligent: Diligent desire to walk in obedience distinguishes us.

Diligently desire and delight in God’s Word.”

Prayer: Lord my God, You Word is my delight and my guiding light. Amen.
